We are planning on visiting WDW in September for our daughters 18th birthday. She would like to stay at Wilderness Lodge. But we will need a great deal to make that happen. When do deals for that time of year come out?

    Hi Amy!

How exciting that you are planning a birthday vacation to Walt Disney World for your daughter. There is no better place in the world to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World!

Discounts have not yet been announced for September, but last year they were released to the general public in April. Of course there is no guarantee that the same discounts or packages that were offered last year will be offered again or offered at the same time, but you can definitely use that timeframe as a guideline.

You can also go ahead and book your Disney package and then when/if the discount is announced you can call back and apply the discount to your package, as long as your reservation meets the parameters of the deal.

Keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for when deals are announced.

You will love the Wilderness Lodge! They have a great pool and restaurants. Be sure to check out Artist Point while you are there. You can make your Advanced Dining Reservation 180 days in advance and note that you will be celebrating your daughter's birthday. They may even bring her a special treat, like a cupcake with a candle!

    Magically,
    Stacy
