Planning on visiting WDW in sep 2011. Notice there is no longer a free dining option. If I make a deposit now and that promotion comes up again, will I be able to take advantage of it? On a tight budget but kids are old enough now to enjoy it all now.

    Hi Mary!

Yes! First, a good place to keep an eye on is the Special Offers page of Walt Disney World. This page lists all of the discounts and promotions available for Disney World vacations - and some of those could save you a bundle of money so they are worth keeping a lookout for!

If you'd like to get a jump start on planning your vacation, you can go ahead and reserve your vacation now. Then, if a new discount is announced, just contact Disney World.

Disney reservationists are almost always able to apply a newly announced discount or promotion to an existing reservation. As long as the resort and room type you are interested in is available, you shouldn't have a problem applying the discount. If your first choice resort is unavailable for some reason, you are usually given an option to change rooms or resorts- most often without a charge.

Keep an eye on the Special Offers page of Disneyworld.com and be sure to call 407-939-7675 (or contact your travel agent) if you see a new discount announced. Just let them know that you'd like to apply it to your reservation when you call.

    Hope you have fun planning!
