We are planning on visiting WDW with our grandchildren (ages 9 and 6) and would like to know how long we should stay - it took us almost 2 weeks to see Disneyland with them so we know it takes WAY longer with kids than just by ourselves.

    Hi Alexis!

How wonderful that you are visiting Walt Disney World with your grandchildren! I'm going to Walt Disney World with my Mom and two kids (ages 9 and 5) this summer, as well and I highly recommend visiting for ten days. A ten-day vacation will allow you to maximize your savings, as the longer you stay, the less expensive the Magic Your Way Ticket is per day. For example, the ten day ticket is mere dollars more than a seven day ticket.

You will also feel that you can tour the parks without feeling rushed. You will have enough time to visit each park twice, as well as take a couple of days to relax at the pool at your resort and visit Downtown Disney to shop!

We also always like to have a "Best of Day" which allows us to experience our favorite, must-see attractions once more before we leave. Having a ten-day vacation allows you to this luxury.

A ten-day vacation will also allow you to tour the parks at a more leisurely pace. You will even have time to go back to the resort in the middle of the day and take a nap or relax by the pool.

Remember though, even though you are staying for a long vacation, there is no way to see everything in one trip. We get to experience something new each and every time we visit!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
