Hi I am planning on visiting Disney World October 25th- October 31st for the Halloween Party. My daughters will be 9yrs & 5yrs old. What days are least crowded? When do tickets for October go on sale?

    Hi Ivonnette,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World. The first year my family attended it was the week of Halloween. I believe we chose to go a day or two before Halloween, and the crowds were not that bad. I would expect Halloween to be busier than nights during the week.

Last year the Disney Parks Blog announced the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties in May, and tickets were available then as well. I'm sure the 2014 dates will be announced around the same time. Please be aware that the event is held on select nights only. Special Event Tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can be purchased online closer to the event dates.

Please be sure to send me any further questions about your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
