We are planning on visiting Disney for the first time in September, and we are wondering do we have to stay on Disney's Resorts to be able to purchase the Dining Plan, or can we purchase it with our tickets and stay outside Disney in a condo?

Hi Alicia! September will be here before you know it! It's a great month for a first visit to Walt Disney World because the attendance levels in the parks are generally fairly low then. The Disney Dining Plan is available only as part of a vacation package that includes a stay at a Disney resort and park tickets. Thus, you can't stay in off-site accommodations and have the Dining Plan.

If you're interested in the Disney Dining Plan, check out the Special Offers page of the Disney website. You'll find a great deal for September -- the Memories Vacation Package offers the Dining Plan for FREE!

Have a magical first Disney vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
