We are planning on visiting in August for 8 days - Myself, my husband and my son (15) he wants to bring friend, which is fine, but we can't decide which would be better - suite at Music or 2 rooms, is there a guarantee of joint rms if we go that route?

    Hi Kerry,

At the value level, personally I'd go with the family suite. While Disney does make every effort to honor guest requests for things like connecting rooms, these requests are not guaranteed.

However, the main reason that I'd recommend the suite is that these rooms come with a kitchenette which includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. I have teenagers and I know that they are perpetually hungry. Having the kitchenette would allow you to keep some soda or milk cold in the room and let the boys make come microwave popcorn in the evening.

Also, did you know that there are family suites at the brand new Art of Animation resort that's opening at the end of May? These rooms are a bit more expensive than All Star Music suites, but they'll obviously be super fresh and new.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
