We are planning to visit with a 3 and 5 year old. We would like a hotel right near the part of the park where there are suitable activities / rides for kids aged 3 and 5. Can you recommend a hotel and also the park area?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Gursharan. I'm so glad you stopped by! It's super exciting to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. And with little ones in tow! You're sure to make lots of magical memories.

As a mom of three, I love the Disney Resorts Collection. With benefits like complimentary transportation and Early Theme Park Entry, the Disney Resorts Collection makes traveling with kids a breeze. One of my favorite things about staying at a Disney Resort hotel is that my family is immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling, even after we've left the theme parks!

With over 25 Disney Resort hotels to choose from, you certainly have lots of options. I recommend staying in the Magic Kingdom Park area or the EPCOT area if you're looking for a Disney Resort hotel that's close to the parks. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are two of my family's absolute favorites! Both feature subtle Disney theming in the rooms, immersive pools and aquatic play areas, and convenient access and proximity to Magic Kingdom Park, my favorite theme park for little ones to explore. You may also want to consider Disney's Beach Club Resort or Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Both these hotels are family-friendly, and are just a walk away from EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios! If you're looking for something a little more budget-friendly, I recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. My family loves this island-themed Disney Resort hotel! My kids appreciate the central location, access to the Disney Skyliner, and feature pool (who doesn't love water slides?).

To book a Disney Resort hotel stay, visit the Walt Disney World Resort website and enter your travel dates and number of children and adults in your party using the 'Build Your Vacation' tool on the homepage. Click the 'View Rates' button to view availability, and find the right fit for your family's unique needs, interests, and budget!

I hope this was helpful, Gursharan. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
