We are planning a visit to WDW 12/1/14 - 12/5/14. I know the parks will be decorated for Christmas but will we be able to experience any of the Christmas parades and shows during these first few days of December? Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gail! Thank you so much for bringing us your question. You have picked a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World. The weeks after Thanksgiving and before Christmas have historically low crowds yet the holiday decorations are in place.

During the time of your visit, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the best place to see Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season. I would absolutely recommend attending one of the parties during your stay. They only sell a limited number of tickets so wait times on attractions is typically low. There is also nothing like walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with snow falling overhead while the smell of Snickerdoodles fills the air.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions about holiday happenings or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
