We are planning to visit WDW Jan 30-Feb 5, my research showed this a good time to come weather is mild and its not very crowded, do you find this to be true? We are coming from UT where its 30, will it be warm enough to swim, any tips on clothing to bring

Hey Al!  I love to hear that others research their Walt Disney World trips too! I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the mild winter weather in Florida in late January/early February as opposed to that of Utah! Average highs for Orlando typically run between 72-74 degrees for this time of year and average low's range between 50-51 degrees. I do think this is a great time to visit Walt Disney World as far as crowd levels go. Generally when school is in session you can expect crowds to be milder than peak times like Spring Break and the week between Christmas and New Year's. The Walt Disney World Resort pools are heated to 82 degrees. We went to Walt Disney World the first weekend of January and people were swimming at our resort. I would suggest bringing clothes to layer, as it can warm up nicely during the days, but get pretty cool in the evenings!  I would also recommend checking the weather a few days before you leave home as things can often change pretty quickly down here in the South. I hope this helps! Please let myself or one of the other Moms know if there is anything else we can do for you! We are always here to help! I hope you have a Magical Walt Disney World vacation!!
