Hello. I am planning to visit WDW in August we are a family of five our kids have 2-5-8. Will this make it difficult for the rides, or will the 2 year old still be able to be in the lap ? Thank you !

    Hi Yvette,

I hope you’re getting excited for your vacation to the most magical place on earth! You and your family are going to have such an amazing time and make memories to last a lifetime!

I’m happy to let you know that most attractions without a height restriction utilize a bench-style seat, allowing families of lots of different sizes with Mouseketeers of all ages to fit comfortably. On most rides, you’ll be able to have your little one sit on your lap or right next to you. Your family will be able to sit in one row on some rides and two rows on others. Rest assured, though, that you'll be able to ride together! Enjoy experiencing the magic with and through all of your children!

If there’s an attraction that you’d like to experience that one or more or your children is not quite tall enough for or simply doesn’t wish to ride, you’ll be able to utilize the Rider Switch service and take turns riding while someone stays with those who aren’t riding. Simply ask the Cast Member at the attraction entrance and they'll be happy to help you!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Yvette, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you’re planning your trip. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
