Planning a visit with our 2 yo. We will be spending quite a bit of time at the resort for pool and downtime. Large water slides are useless due to his height. Looking for a great pool & reasonable price. What do you recommend? Considering aoa or cbr

    Hi Ashley!

I love spending time at the Walt Disney World resorts when we visit. Relaxing by the pool, enjoying the food at the resort and playing games at the arcade is a fun way to unwind.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort (AOA) is a great resort if you are looking for an amazing pool, especially for a little one. The Big Blue Pool is the largest pool at any of the Walt Disney World resorts. My kids were blown away when they swam in this pool because they could hear music under the water! Right next to the pool is the Righteous Reef playground, which will be super fun for your two-year old. AOA also has a great food court with options that will fit every palate.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR) has terrific pirate rooms. If your son likes pirates, this is a terrific choice! We stayed here and my son absolutely loved the pirate ship bed and intricate details that went into the pirate room. My kids also loved the pirate ship playground and Fuentes del Morro pool. There are also six smaller leisure pools.

There is also a Pirate Adventure Cruise that sets sail from CBR called the Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise. You could spend your entire vacation at this resort with their wonderful recreation options!

    Magically,
    Stacy
