Hello Eric,
As a hospital nurse working through the pandemic, one thing I have learned is that as soon as you get used to one set of policies, they are likely to change. Just as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather changed Sleeping Beauty’s dress from pink to blue and back to pink, rules for school, work, and travel continue to be adjusted as the pandemic continues. I don’t think any of us know what is yet to come.
While I don’t know for sure, (see above statement about things changing quickly!) I would expect some form of masking policy to continue through September, and likely through most or all of the fall.
Currently, all Guests ages 2 and older are required to wear a mask in all indoor locations including indoor queues and attractions. Masks are optional in outdoor areas, including outdoor queues and attractions. At this time, there are no exceptions to this policy.
Eric, you know your children best. A trip to the
happiest place on earth should be magical and not a struggle. If your children are unable to wear their masks, you may wish to postpone your visit. Typically, the value paid for most wholly unused
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Tickets can be applied towards the purchase of new tickets. So while you would not be able to receive a refund, you would be able to use the value paid for your tickets to purchase tickets for a future visit.
I hope this helps to answer your question so you can make your decision, Eric.
Stay safe and be well!
