Hi, We are planning to visit in Sept. My children are 4, 2 and 8 months. Is the Mickey's Not So Scary Parade a good idea for them or are they too young for it?

    Marisa,

My daughters are 3, 5, & 7 and we have been taking them to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party for 5 years now!  In fact, it is one of our favorite Disney special events and a large part of why we love to visit every fall.

My daughters are not easily frightened and have never been scared at the party or the parade.  However, if your children startle easily, you may want to skip a front-row spot for parade viewing and stand back a little.  In one segment of the parade, the villains walk by and interact somewhat with the children, so little ones might be a bit uncomfortable.

Another great reason to take your kids this fall?  Two of your little ones would be admitted for free!  Your 8 month old and 2 year old are both admitted with no charge, so not only will you get to enjoy all the fun, you'll save the cost of two admissions as well.  Enjoy that perk while you can - they grow up fast!

    Have a great vacation!
