Hi, Kim! You can absolutely do this yourself, but it's not quite as simple as adding. What you essentially do is rebook your reservation with the free dining promotion added.

There are a limited number of rooms with a free dining promotion, so what you'll want to do is call right away when you see the promotion offered and have them change your reservation. It's a quick phone call, and a travel agent usually calls for several clients at a time because it's a fairly simple process. I would still book the room you want now, and then if for some reason you cannot get the same resort or the same accommodation type, you can decide which is more important - the perfect room, or a great room with the dining plan.
