We’re planning a visit in Nov to Coronado Springs resort. We’d like to stay in a standard room at the casitas village on a high floor but we need an elevator. Do all the buildings in the casitas area have elevators?

    Hey there, Shelley!

It's so wonderful to welcome you back to planDisney so soon after our last chat! I hope you were able to grab your tickets for Jollywood Nights. That special-ticketed event looks like it’s going to be such a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season!

I’m also so excited to hear that you’re thinking of staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! It’s such a beautiful resort, and I love how immersive the theming feels from the moment you arrive. I think you'll have a wonderful time making it your home away from home!

I'm happy to share that elevator access is available in the Casitas section of Coronado Springs. If having a convenient location is important for your stay, you can request a room near the elevators when completing your online check-in. I personally love requesting a higher floor whenever possible, as I enjoy the views.

Just keep in mind that while Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate room location requests, they aren’t guaranteed. Once you arrive, I’d recommend checking with the Front Desk to see what options are available and whether they’re able to assist with a room location that works best for you.

Of course, if you’ll be staying at Coronado Springs, you’ll have the added perk of being able to purchase your Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your check-in date. You can make your selections beginning at 7:00 AM Eastern Time through your My Disney Experience app. I recommend setting a reminder so you’re ready to go and can secure the attractions that are at the top of your must-do list!

Shelley, thanks so much for stopping by planDisney again! It’s always wonderful to see you and be a part of your Disney planning journey. If any other questions come up as you continue preparing for your trip, you know we’ll be right here to help!
