Hi there! I am planning to visit Magic Kingdom on 11/9. It is my understanding that the mickey mouse holiday event will take place during the evening. What are park hours on that date? Would we need to purchase tickets to stay for fireworks?

    Hi there, Sahar!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question! Your visit is just around the corner, are you ready? The final countdown is on, and I'm happy to help sprinkle some pixie dust into your plans! According to the Hours & Events Calendar, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not scheduled for this day, and the park hours will be 9:00-9:00 PM. Happily Ever After fireworks will begin at 8:30 PM that evening, and your theme park ticket covers the entire day, no extra purchases are needed! If you were visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a day when the Christmas Party was occurring, you would need to purchase a ticket for that event to enjoy the fireworks in the evening (and all the merry events!).

If you are interested in enjoying the fireworks more magically, consider reserving a spot at one of Magic Kingdom's Fireworks Dessert Parties! You have the options of the Pre, Post, and Seats & Sweets Party. What's the difference? The Pre and Post parties feature seating in the Plaza Garden area, and the Seats & Sweets party is at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant during the fireworks. I recommend the Seats & Sweets Party because having a seat and enjoying dessert and a glass of bubbly is such a great way to end a day at Magic Kingdom.

Sahar, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you for stopping by planDisney, and have a wonderful visit to Magic Kingdom!
