We are planning to visit Magic Kingdom for one day while we are in town visiting family. Is it possible to purchase a dining plan and/or a character breakfast without a vacation package, or can you only buy them as part of a vacation package?

Hi, Megan! I'm sorry to say that, as of this time, the Disney Dining plans are options available exclusively to Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels with Magic Your Way Vacation Packages.  There isn't a dining plan option for those staying off-site. The Disney Dining plans are a great perk, but even without it, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the cost of food and the portion sizes. You are certainly able to make a character breakfast reservation! Anyone, including those staying off-site, can enjoy those experiences.   You will just pay out-of-pocket for it instead of with a dining plan.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
