Hey there, Bobby! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of year! I love visiting in the winter months when the temperatures are a little cooler and there's a whisper of the holidays in the air. This time of year also brings some extra special events, like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! While this is a fun ticketed event, it does bring a few considerations for Guests who will be enjoying
Magic Kingdom Park, but won't be staying for the party.
First, it's important to know that Guests who have purchased tickets for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be welcome to enter the parks at 4:00 PM with their party ticket, even though the event officially begins at 7:00 PM. You may experience the parks getting just a little more crowded, and party Guests often like to book dining reservations during this time (before the party). This will be important to know in case you'd like to make an
advance dining reservation for the day you're visiting Magic Kingdom Park! You'll want to make sure you're ready to book any restaurant reservations 60 days prior to your trip.
Additionally, Guests who do not have a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be asked to exit the park at 6:00 PM. You might want to make a few plans after you leave Magic Kingdom Park, such as heading to
Disney Springs for a little holiday shopping or for a delicious dinner (I'd recommend
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin') or exploring another park if your ticket includes the
Park Hopper option. You might even want to spend a little extra time enjoying your Disney Resort hotel! Bobby, if you're looking for any exciting options, please write back – we're more than happy to help.
If you have any other questions, please write to us again! After all – you've got a friend in me.
Wishing you the very merriest,
Michelle
