Hello I am planning to visit The Magic Kingdom on April 20th. Can you help me with purchasing and planning

Hey there, Ralph, and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting that you're planning to visit Magic Kingdom SO SOON! Let's get everything in place so you're waving to Mickey before you know it!

You can easily purchase your Magic Kingdom theme park ticket right here on the Walt Disney World website. If you're planning to visit just one day, simply pick your date from the calendar, choose Magic Kingdom as your park, and then select how many tickets you'll need. Once you've made your selections, just add them to your cart to complete your purchase.

Once you've purchased your tickets, you'll want to make sure they're linked to your My Disney Experience account. To check this, head to the 'My Plans' page on the Walt Disney World website. If you don't see your tickets listed there, no worries – it's easy to link them! On the 'My Plans' page, look for the blue Park Tickets icon. Click it, and select 'Link Tickets.' You'll need to enter the ticket ID number from your confirmation email and follow the prompts to complete the process.

Before your magical day arrives, be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile app to your device. This handy dandy tool is a total game-changer when it comes to navigating the parks. With just a few taps, you can check attraction wait times, view entertainment schedules, mobile order your favorite food and beverages, and so much more!

Ralph, since you're planning to visit on Easter, you can expect Magic Kingdom to be quite busy. If you're staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be able to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, which lets you step into the park 30 minutes before regular opening. If not, I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the official park opening to make the most of rope-dropping some of your favorite attractions.

To maximize your time even further, consider purchasing Lightning Lane passes. Disney Resort Guests can book their selections up to 7 days prior to their check-in, whereas all other Guests can purchase 3 days before their park visit.

I hope this sets you up for a day of fun and Disney magic, Ralph — here's to a supercalifragilistic, Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah kind of day!

    See ya real soon!
