    We were planning to visit HWS on 10/2/13 -- does it close early and there is no Fantasmic show? Should I reschedule the day we are going around Fantasmic? I have a 4 year old.

    Hi Kara! I think October 2nd is a great day to visit Hollywood Studios! While the park does close at 6 p.m. that night, I would expect it to be fairly uncrowded that day since early October is often a time of lower attendance levels and since many guests will choose to visit Hollywood Studios on days when the park hours are longer.

    Fantasmic is scheduled for October 1 and October 3, but not October 2. If you really want to see Fantasmic, you could visit Hollywood Studios on October 1st or 3rd, but I'd recommend visiting on October 2nd instead and enjoying the low crowds. Fantasmic is a stunning show; however, in my opinion, some aspects of the show can be a little scary for young children. (When my daughter was 7, she found some of the scenes a tad frightening, so if your 4-year-old is sensitive you may want to delay Fantasmic a few years.)
