Planning a visit in Feb & staying with SIL who is a DVC member. Can we get separate dining plans - they want deluxe, we want the standard plan - or do you all have to have the same plan if staying in the same suite under the same reservation? Thanks.

    Hello Sharon!

Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another fabulous question about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth.  It's my pleasure to be able to answer your inquiry today.

The Disney Dining Plans are a great way to save some money on dining while at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Each time my family has used a Disney Dining Plan, we have saved over the cost of paying out of pocket for meals.   I hope you really enjoy using it when you visit.   All Guests who stay in one room or Disney Vacation Club Suite will all have to be on the same Disney Dining Plan.   Basically if you have the same confirmation number for your hotel stay as your sister in law you would need to be on the same Disney Dining Plan as she is.   One of you could not have the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan while one has the Quick-Service Dining Plan.  If you are stuck on a decision why not check out the new Disney Dining Plan Plus which gives you two meal credits per day that you can use in any combination between Table-Service and Quick-Service Dining locations.    One night you could enjoy a meal at California Grill a Signature Restaurant that requires 2 dining credits,  while the next day you could have a quick-service breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant and a sit down dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern.   The possibilities are endless.  This new plan also comes with a refillable mug and 2 snacks per person per day.   I can't wait to try it out on a future trip.

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know how else I can assist you in the future.  Lending a helping hand to fellow Guests is what I enjoy most.

    Dream as Dreamers Do,

    Jen
