Hi there Dinali,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be making new memories at the Disneyland Resort in just a little over a week from now!
Currently, to enter one of the two theme parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both valid
theme park tickets and a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. Beyond that, you're set to enjoy all the attractions and entertainment around the park - all included with the price of your theme park ticket!
When Disneyland Park opened in 1955 until the early 1980s, it utilized a coupon system where Guests would pay for the attractions they wanted to experience. However, these days, your theme park ticket and theme park reservation includes all of the rides and entertainment so you don't have to pay anything extra for those!
I would recommend budgeting for things like the many delicious
food and beverage options around the park, and for merchandise to commemorate your trip! Additionally, a really helpful tool to have on your phone when you arrive is the
Disneyland Resort mobile app. This app has many helpful features including a map that can show where you are in the park, dining options with menus, the ability to
mobile order food & beverages to skip the line, entertainment schedules, and more!
As you continue to plan until you leave for your trip, make sure to come back and see us here at planDisney if you think of any other questions we can help with. We'd love to help! Thanks again for stopping by, Dinali!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
