Hi Sindhu!
Oh, I remember when I brought my son and daughter to
Walt Disney World when they were three years old. It was the most magical moment of my life. Seeing my kids experiencing the parks, meeting Mickey Mouse, riding the carousel, and splashing around in the water made my heart melt.
Sindhu, I know your three-year-old son will love all of the Walt Disney World parks, as there are special features at each of them. However, if I could choose just one theme park to recommend, it would be
Disney's Magic Kingdom.
When you arrive, make sure to ask a Cast Member for a celebration button for your son's first visit. They will write his name on it and he will love hearing greetings all day long! After you enter the park, head straight to see
Mickey at Town Square Theatre, which is on the right. Your son will love meeting Mickey and taking a photo with him!
As you walk down Main Street, make sure to take a picture in front of
Cinderella Castle. A
PhotoPass photographer will be positioned here. I highly recommend purchasing
Memory Maker for unlimited downloads of your PhotoPass photos.
Turn right as you approach Cinderella Castle to enter Tomorrowland. Your son will love the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Grab a Mickey Mouse pretzel from Lunching Pad and then head over to Fantasyland. Catch a ride on
Peter Pan's Flight and
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Make an advanced dining reservation for
Chef Mickey's, which is located at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can take the
monorail from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your reservation. Your son will love dining with the Fab Five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto)!
Another tip I have for you is to search for the
attractions using "any height" so you can see the attractions your son can ride. You will also want to check out the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones guide, which is chockfull of tips for visiting the parks with a toddler.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
