    Hello, I am planning to visit Disney World in July of 2020 with a group of about 30. We do not plan to book a package, we only want theme park tickets. When is the earliest date that tickets may be purchased?

    Hi Tawanna,

    Wow! 30 Mouseketeers together at the most magical place on earth sounds like quite a party! You guys are surely going to have a BLAST together! There will be some exciting NEW additions by then, and you'll have a great time experiencing them with so many loved ones!

    All tickets available for sale now must be activated by December 31, 2019 or they will expire. Now, with that said, their value never truly expires because as long as they are unused, their value may be applied to the purchase of new tickets at the current price. While we can't know for sure when tickets will become available that expire at the end of the year in 2020, I can tell you that the expiration date was changed to the end of 2019 in mid-February of 2018. My best guess is that you could purchase tickets for your group around the same time early next year and they would be valid for your July 2020 vacation. I'd encourage you to keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog or on the Tickets page, though, for any announcements or changes.
