Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Judy! I'd be happy to give you some food for thought about your upcoming vacation!
The Disney Dining Plan is a great option that allows guests to pre-pay for their meals as part of a
Walt Disney World Vacation Package. Instead of worrying about prices, you can have peace of mind and enjoy what you've already paid for. Although I've personally reaped the benefits of the Disney Dining Plan many times, there have been trips when I've decided to forgo it. For instance, when we when visit during the times of the year that Epcot has a festival, we tend to eat less
Table Service meals (the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays has some mighty tasty snacking opportunities). I recommend "using your noodle" to consider your family's dining style. I've been known to Google "Disney Dining Calculator" to help me crunch those numbers.
Although prices are always subject to change, the current costs of the plans you are considering are as follows:
Disney Dining Plan*Adult: $78.01 per person, per night
*Child: $30.51 per person, per night
*Everyone in the party ages three and over will receive the following each night of their package stay: 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, and 2 Snacks
*Each Guest ages three and over will receive a refillable drink mug
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan*Adult: $119 per person, per night
*Child: $47.50 per person, per night
*Everyone in the party ages three and over will receive the following each night of their package stay: 3 Meals (Table Service or Quick Service) and 2 Snacks
*Each Guest ages three and over will receive a refillable drink mug
*This plan is excellent for guests who want to experience the many Signature Restaurants on property that are 2 Dining Plan entitlements.
