Hey there, Roberta!
I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! I love that you're planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most MERRIEST time of the year! The holiday season at Disney World is truly something special. There's magic in every corner, twinkling lights as far as the eye can see, and an atmosphere that's simply unmatched! It's one of my favorite times to visit.
If you're not planning to purchase a ticket to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it's important to know that
Magic Kingdom will close early, at 6:00 PM, on party nights. At that time, only Guests with event tickets will be able to remain in the park.
Looking at the
dates of your visit, it appears there are party nights scheduled for November 25th and 26th. So, if you don't plan to attend the party, you'll have to wrap up your time at Magic Kingdom a bit earlier on those days.
That said, I'd love to share a little tip with you! I actually enjoy visiting Magic Kingdom on party days even without an event ticket. Why? Because the park is often less crowded during the day, as many Guests choose to visit on days with longer evening hours instead. This can lead to shorter wait times for attractions, making it possible to experience more rides and experiences in a shorter amount of time!
I'm not sure how many days you're planning to spend at Magic Kingdom, or if you have a
Park Hopper ticket, but if your schedule allows, I'd recommend visiting twice. Once on a party day to take advantage of the lower daytime crowds, and again on a non-party day, so you can enjoy the full nighttime experience. The second visit will give you a chance to see some of the park's nighttime entertainment, like the all-new nighttime parade,
Disney Starlight, and the fireworks spectacular,
Happily Ever After.
Roberta, I hope this information has been helpful as you plan your very merry Disney visit! If you have any additional questions, feel free to pop back over to planDisney!
Magic Awaits,
Kami
