I am planning to visit Disney in Jan 2010 for my daugher's 5th birthday. We are staying in Port Orleans. I am looking for some ideas about what she will enjoy the most. I am thinking about taking her the bibbi boutique. How is it? Is it worth it? Thanks,

Hey Marsha and fellow GA Mom!  I can't recommend the BBB enough.  I took my youngest when she was 5 and it is a Disney memory I will never forget.  I think this is a fantastic idea for a birthday present because she will enter the boutique a little birthday girl but she will come out a true princess.  The CM's at BBB also will treat her right, from the calling of her name into the salon, to the pulling back of the curtain to reveal her costume.  There are several different packages to choose from so you can do something as easy as hair and nails or you can go all the way with a complete princess costume.  We purchased that package and when my little one selected her costume, I said "congratulations that is also your Halloween costume this year!"
Another great idea on her birthday is to plan a character dining.  When making your dining reservations, make sure you let them know you are celebrating her special day and she will even receive a special birthday cupcake after her meal.  Chef Mickey even has special birthday placemats and the birthday girl will receive a card signed by the Fab 5.
I hope this helps and happy early birthday to your little princess.
