Hi Lara!
I am so excited you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World. Bringing toddlers to experience the magic is so much fun. I myself have two young sons who are 3 and 4 years-old, and they love everything about Disney Parks. So let me share my favorite Resort hotel that caters to my young Disney Junior lovers.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Hotel is my hands down first choice for your little guy. This resort is a tropical paradise for parents, as well as a pirate playground for little ones. Fuentes del Morro Pool is zero entry, has two slides, and water cannons for your family to enjoy. My favorite feature of this pool is the shipwreck water playground for guests under 48". With three slides and a dumping bucket, it is hard to get your little scallywags to leave. At this resort you can even stay in a room themed after Pirates of the Caribbean. My boys love to pretend they are Jake, searching for treasure as they jump from bed to bed in these delightfully decorated rooms.
As far as attractions are concerned, the classics are my sons favorite. A visit to the Magic Kingdom theme park is a must at this age. We often spend two days exploring this fairytale filled wonderland. Soar on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and take off to Neverland on Peter Pan's Flight, but save time to say hi to my pal Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater, you may be in for a little surprise when you do.
Lara, if you have any other questions please let me know. I love helping fellow Disney-loving moms plan vacations they will never forget.
