Hiya Nashmia,
Welcome to planDisney. Oh Boy! It is not much longer until you will be on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. There are so many new and exciting things to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort, including our favorite, the newest EPCOT attraction
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It is out of this world!
It sounds like you have an incredible 16 days of fun, sun and memory making ahead! The only bad thing is, if you pack like I do, you may end up with quite the stack of luggage. The good news is the Cast Members at your resort's Bell Services will be happy to help you with your luggage on arrival day. If your room is not ready, they will be happy to store it until it is, so you to head straight to the theme parks or
Disney Springs and enjoy your day. Once your room is ready, they will place it in your room or if you arrive back at the resort before that happens, simply call or stop at the Bell Services counter for assistance. Likewise, they will be able to assist in getting your luggage from your room to the resort entrance so you can board your transportation to your cruise and of course be ready to help when you return to the Walt Disney World Resorts after your wonderful cruise. Unfortunately, the one thing they cannot do is store your luggage while you are sailing the seas. They simply do not have the capacity to store luggage long term.
On a side note, I did a little checking and found there are companies in the area that will store your luggage for an extended period of time. The most popular one I saw was a company called Bounce that offers storage for a fee per bag, per day. Personally, I have never used this option but you may want to call and talk to them. Hope this helps and if you have any additional questions,
please stop back and see me. Wishing you the most magical time!
With pixie dust,
Margaret
