    We are planning to visit AK on 12-4-08. I was wondering if all of the lands open when the park does. I remember being at AK in 05 and dinoland opening a little later. Pleas help!

    You're right that there areas of the parks that do open later than the stated opening time of the entire park. For example, Toontown in the Magic Kingdom almost always opens an hour after the rest of the park. Also, there are several individual rides and attractions that commonly open well after the park opens. The park schedules do, however, change weekly. The only real way to know what the hours are is to check the free Times Guides upon your arrival at WDW.

    That being said, my more recent experience at the Animal Kingdom is that DinoLand does open when the rest of the park opens. My family has been on the Primeval Whirl several times right at 9:01. As for delays, commonly the character greeting trails at Camp Minnie-Mickey in the AK may open after rest of the park. For example, when the AK opens at 9:00, the Camp Minnie-Mickey greetings often open at 10:00. Similarly, the Kali River Rapids attraction usually opens after the rest of the park, getting started at either 9:30 or 10:00 when the park opens at 9:00. Also, parts of Conversation Station also often open a bit later than other areas. Again, check the Times Guide.
