We are planning our 3rd vacation at WDW and are thinking about the last week of September 2016. We really want to take part in the Halloween festivities and the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Do you know the dates they will begin?

    Hi there Dana!

How exciting to be planning your third Walt Disney World vacation!  I have visited the last weekend of September and found the weather to be ideal for park touring and the crowd levels minimal. Unfortunately, the dates for both Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival have not been officially released at this time. Last year, the first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was held on September 15, 2015 and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival officially began on September 25, 2015. I would recommend that you check the Disney Parks Blog periodically in the next few weeks for any new announcements concerning both of these popular events.

I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Dana!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
