We are planning a Vacation we want to stay on Disney probably going to be 12 adults and three children ages 6, 9, and 9. What are your suggestions? Where is there a resort that all of us can stay together?

    Hi Peggy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! When I help friends and family plan their vacations, I always recommend staying on property at a Walt Disney World Resort. With complimentary transportation from Orlando International Airport and within the Walt Disney World Resort, Extra Magic Hours giving you additional time in the theme parks, and Disney’s legendary theming, quality and customer service, I think staying within the magic is the best way to enjoy your unforgettable Disney vacation.

We often with extended family and friends, and for large groups, check out Disney’s Deluxe Villas. I would recommend booking two 2 Bedroom Villas. Each of these rooms would sleep either 8 or 9 Guests, and offer you a full kitchen, washer and dryer, a whirlpool tub, multiple bathrooms and separate living and sleeping areas! Our favorite resort is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. The amazing theme and decor of this resort is made even more magical by the African wildlife right outside your balcony.

Other resorts to consider that offer 2 Bedroom Villas are Disney’s Bay Lake Tower which is just a short walk from the Magic Kingdom, or Disney’s Boardwalk Villas which is steps from Epcot. If your family enjoys a quieter atmosphere, check out Disney’s Old Key West Resort for large rooms and a great value.

You could also consider booking a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa that sleeps up to 12 Guests and then either a Deluxe Studio or 1 Bedroom Villa for the additional Guests. If you’d like to book a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa you will need to call, as these are very popular and are extremely limited.

I hope I’ve given you some good ideas, and I hope you’ll continue to visit us with additional questions as you plan your exciting vacation!
