I was planning my vacation for Sept. 2012, when I came across a website that gave information on the crowd volume. It broke it down by telling the heaviest, lightest and most moderate days in each park. Is this something accurate that I should consider??

Hi Patrick, There are a few websites that offer WDW crowd information. The most accurate and reputable is the Crowd Calendar at the independent website touringplans.com. Touring Plans is run by the same team that writes the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World book. They are researchers and statisticians who have been studying Disney crowd patterns for more than a decade. Their data is quite accurate; they even post frequent updates and notices about whether they've been on target. In the interest of full disclosure, I'll say that now do some writing for Touring Plans, but I was a fan for many years before I even met anyone associated with the site. Even as a Disney veteran, the Crowd Calendar data is something that I use in my own WDW trip planning. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
