Planning a vacation for my husband, my two children (both will be 5 boy and girl) and I am also going to be at 7 mn. pregnant. Will this affect our trip? Should we go while I am pegnant/wait tilll after the baby is born? Also what is the weather in april?

    Hi there Kristin!

How exciting to be planning an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  As a mom of four children including a set of twin boys, I have vacationed while pregnant and also when my son was 5-months-old.  The only limitations I ever found when traveling while pregnant was needing to skip the thrill attractions, which my husband was able to do with the kids. I personally found it to be easier to travel while pregnant rather than with an infant, due to the decreased flexibility around meal times and nap times with a baby. Based on my own personal experience, I would recommend traveling while pregnant if your pregnancy seems to be going well and you don't think the amount of walking will be a problem.

I have visited in April many times and have always found the weather to be ideal for park touring and also being able to utilize the pools at our Disney Resort hotel. The average high temperature in April is traditionally in the low 80s with an average low temperature in the low 60s.

I hope this information is helpful to you in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kristin!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
