    I am planning a vacation for fall/winter 2013. Is the Christmas parade everyday in December? Can we expect a lot of traffic in the parks in the month of December? Also, alot of the packages are for family of 4; can we get a package deal for a family of 3?

    Hi Christina!

    I do love the fact that you are looking to book your Walt Disney World vacation for next years holiday season!  Planning ahead is definitely wise to make sure that you have time to see and do all the activities that you want. 

    The Christmas parade is filmed usually the second week in December. It is filmed every year, and it is quite a production for WDW and guests are sometimes asked to participate.  There is no set date for taping, but historically, it occurs in December.  The latter part of December is traditionally a busy time as many are heading to WDW for the holidays, and Christmas Day happens to be the busiest day of the year for the Disney Parks.  During this time, parks do reach capacity early, and it is always recommended to head to your park of choice as early as possible. 

    Although the packages that are shown are usually priced for a party of four, you can modify dates, tickets and dining packages for any number of parties, from a party of one to a party of 14 or more.  The options are entirely yours.
