    I am planning a vacation to disney's Animal Kingdom in March 2011. We're a family of 4 but our niece will make 5. Is the maximum occupancy of 4 per room rigid and will I have to book a larger room? I see that some have 2 queens w/ daybed which will do.

    Hi, Peggy!  For the purposes of safety, the maximum occupancy per room is pretty much set in stone.  If anyone is under the age of three, they do not count towards the room maximum, so that would allow you to add an additional person.

    The rooms with two queen beds and a daybed are meant to accommodate a party of five, so you won't have any trouble there at all.  The room is definitely comfortable enough for a family of five, as we've stayed in that type of accommodation many times with our family of five.

    Alternatively, you could look into one of the Animal Kingdom Lodge villas.  They are a bit more expensive, but you get the added bonus of a full kitchen and washer/dryer combination, which can be a great help!

    Make sure to list all of your room occupants - even the small ones - on your reservation.  They will each be issued a key to the world card, which you will need to participate in extra magic hours!
