    Planning a vacation for August 2013, how soon would you book if you wanted to stay in the villas at the wilderness resort, 6 adults and 3 children.

    Hi Kay!  How awesome that you are planning to stay at The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  The booking window for 2013 has not opened as of yet.  Most likely, availability for August 2013 will appear closer towards September 2012.  Normally, bookings are available 15 months in advance.  Being that you are a large family, and would probably be trying to reserve a two bedroom villa, I would call once the calendar shows availability.

    When looking to book a resort, I call as soon as I know what my dates are and the resorts appear on the calendar as available.  To book, there is a $200  deposit, and the remainder due either 45 days in advance (for packages) or day of arrival (room only).  You may pay off your balance ahead of time, of course.
