Hello! We're planning a vacation for April 2013 with kids ages 4 & 5. Will they be old enough to ride water slides at the hotels and water parks? Also, we haven't picked a hotel yet- Which one has the best pool? Thanks!

Hi Courtney! Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have designated areas for the little ones. Tike's Peak at Blizzard Beach and Ketchakiddee Creek at Typhoon Lagoon are specially designed for swimmers 48 inches and under. Being able to ride attractions is determined by height, so, if your children meet the height requirement, it's up to you what the can ride.

Not being sure of your budget, here are my favourite pools in each class of resort:
    - Value Resort - Art of Animation Resort is Disney's newest resort and just opened a few weeks ago. I haven't stayed there yet, but saw it and the pool area is amazing!
    - Moderate Resort - The Caribbean Beach Resort has a fantastic pool area. The kiddie pool is awesome!
    - Deluxe Resort - You can't beat the Beach and Yacht Club's Stormalong Bay. It's three acres of fun, including a sand bottom pool and lazy river.

These are my faves, but I have to say we have fun at all resort pools, which all have something special.

Hope this helps Courtney! Write back with any other questions as you plan your Disney vacation!
