We are planning our vacation for April 3-10. My husband is in USAF & we will be purchasing hopper tickets through them. I read on another site that blackout dates for hopper tickets is Mar 29- Apr ? Is that for the military hoppers or all hopper ticket

Hi, Kisha!  The Armed Forces Salute passes, which are the most affordable way for military guests and their families to visit Walt Disney World are subject to blockout dates.  The dates for this year do include March 29 - April 7th, so while you can use a regularly purchased park hopper pass for those days, you cannot use the Armed Forces Salute tickets on those days.

There are normally discounted park hopper passes available to service members.  The discounts on those tickets range from about 4% to 8%, depending on the number of days you are purchasing them for.  These tickets are not subject to blockout dates, and can be used any time during the year.  Those tickets are not available at a Walt Disney World ticket window.  You can only purchase them from a military installation, a military reseller, or at the Shades of Green resort at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps with your planning!
