I am planning a vacation for 6 adults in a suite with theme park tickets. If 2 of the 6 adults decide they cannot come more than 30 days before the trip, can i remove them from the theme park tickets?

Welcome to planDisney, Jeremy! I'm so happy to know you're busy planning your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. You've come to the right place!

I have good news. If the theme park tickets have not been used, they can be reassigned to another guest. Tickets are only “nontransferable” after a guest has used them. If you or the guests in your party do not use the tickets during your upcoming visit, no worries! They can be used on another trip.

To reassign your ticket, sign into your My Disney Experience account on a computer or open up your My Disney Experience app. Select “Tickets and Passes” and select the ticket assigned to the guest who was not able to make the trip. You will see an option below it that says “Reassign Ticket.” You can then select a new guest on your list to assign that ticket to. It takes a minute or two to update sometimes, so be sure to refresh your page.

Be sure to take a look at the Disney Parks Blog as you make those final plans for your upcoming visit. The blog is a great place to find out about all the new experiences, foods and activities you will be able to enjoy during your vacation!

Jeremy, please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
