We are planning on using the luggage service from the airport. Do we need to be present at the room when our luggage arrives? We would like to hit the parks immediately upon arrival.

Hi, Sara! No, you do not have to be in your room to wait for your luggage.  When you arrive at your resort, you can check-in, get your Key to the World Card (room key, park tickets, and dining plan card, if applicable) and head straight to the fun!  Disney "Magic" will have your bags in your room when you return.  This is a wonderful service that my family and I really appreciate.  Checking your bags at your home airport and having them arrive in your room without dealing with them in between is terrific.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
