    Hi Moms! I am planning two trips within the next year and I'm thinking of buying an annual pass. How would it work with a room only or free dining discount(if they came out)? With both trips I should have 12 parks days, so it should be worth it, right?

    Hi Todd!

    The Annual Pass for Walt Disney World offers many benefits, which you can consider when deciding between purchasing tickets for each trip or splurging on the annual pass.

    When you are an annual pass holder, you can purchase the Tables in Wonderland card, which offers a 20 percent discount on all food and beverages. The Tables in Wonderland card can save you significant money when dining at the parks and resorts. You can also purchase the Disney Dining Plan (DDP.)

    In regards to the free dining promotion, you have to purchase a package to quality for free dining, which includes both the room and the tickets, therefore unless you purchased a package in addition to your annual pass, you wouldn't quality for the free dining. Many guests find that the discounts they receive on dining through the Tables in Wonderland card and the unlimited admission to the parks and discounts on specialty ticketed events exceed the discount of the free dining promotion, so it makes it worth it financially.
