We're planning a trip with a 4yr & 1yr old. We will likely have to return to our resort for an afternoon nap. What resort do you suggest for those ages & easy transportation/location for our afternoon breaks?

    Hi Erin!

I think that you are smart to plan an afternoon nap for your two young children.

I highly recommend that you stay at a resort on the monorail line for maximum efficiency in going back to your resort in the afternoon. Grand Floridian, Polynesian and The Contemporary are are excellent choices. Between the three, I think that The Contemporary would be a great choice for your family because your young children would love dining at Chef Mickeys, which is right in the resort. The pools are also wonderful and kids love this lively atmosphere. They can even see the monorail go right through the resort!

You can take the monorail straight from the Magic Kingdom to your resort, which will save you so much time. It will also be convenient if your kids fall asleep in transit from the parks to the resort, because you won't have to wake them up to take a bus. You can roll your stroller directly on the monorail and they won't have to move at all.

    Magically,
    Stacy
