We are planning a trip and have a 2 year old and will be 6 month old. What is transportation like for infants and toddlers? Are we able to ride the bus service to the parks and Disney Springs? Or do we have to have a car with a car seat?

    Hey there, hi there, Morgan!

What an exciting time to be planning a Walt Disney World vacation with your littles! There is so much magic to behold and memories to be made when kids are this little, and I hope this trip is everything you're dreaming it will be.

Disney Resort Transportation is a pretty convenient way to get around to everything you want to see and do throughout Disney World, whether it's heading to the theme parks, traveling to another resort for dining reservations, or even heading to Disney Springs for some shopping and eating. You will not need car seats on any of the Disney transportation, not even the buses, so you won't have to worry about a thing there.

If you're in a bit of a hurry, looking to take a more direct route between two places, or you simply want the comfort and convenience of your own set of wheels, Disney World also has Minnie Van Service. This exclusive Disney rideshare service works through your Lyft app on your phone, and the vans include two complimentary car seats. It's the same as using a Lyft or Uber at home, but these adorable vans stay on Disney property and can help expedite your trip, especially going between Disney Resort Collection hotels.

Keep in mind, Morgan, if you're using your own stroller, on many forms of Disney transportation, the stroller will need to be folded before you board. I love the Minnie Vans for the end of a long day, tired tots in tow, and souvenirs in hand.

    Happy planning, Morgan!
