Michael,
Thanks for your question to planDisney!
I know from personal experience that you should be able to add people to your vacation package easily, as long as you are not exceeding the number of people that your room is rated to serve.
For a big birthday celebration, my family planned out a complete Spring Break getaway to Walt Disney World. That was for myself, my wife, and our two daughters. Then we were chatting with my nephew, and he expressed an interest in joining us. As we had a room that could officially accommodate 5, we just had to add him to that reservation, and we were ready to go.
Because your room has 2 queen beds, I am confident that the room is rated for four people, so you should be good to go from that perspective.
To add those folks to your plan, you should be able to accomplish most of it via the
My Disney Experience service on the website. But if you are encountering any issues, just visit the
Help Center to find the phone numbers of different support lines that can assist.
BONUS TIPIf you have already made 2-person dining reservations, there can be some trouble in adding 2 more to a dining party. Sometimes it will be a breeze, but any restaurant in question must alter you from a 2-person table to a 4-person table, and if they are already booked up you may not get your wish. So try to make changes as soon as you know your final plans.
Write me back if you have any other questions. I have two teenage daughters, so I have lots of great ideas of how to plus up your vacation!
Have a Magical Vacation!
