We're planning our 2nd trip with our 6 and 3 year old boys. We'd like to go to WDW in Oct but are hesitant with the Food & Wine Festival going on. How busy do the other parks get?

    Hi Tanya,

I love the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. It is one of my favorite reasons to be at the Walt Disney World in October. EPCOT will be the busiest on opening and closing weekends of the festival. The queues for the additional food kiosks will be longer than other times during the month. In addition, you may have slightly longer lines for the attractions but not as long as during peak times. Also, avoid the weekends as many locals will travel in just for the food.

The other parks will feel the additional guests coming for the festival however a lot of guests concentrate their time in EPCOT just for the festival and may not even tour the other parks.

I would definitely go in October with the parameters set above and enjoy the cool weather of October and maybe in squeeze in Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party-one of my favorite things to do!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
