Planning a trip to the world 8/14/12 - 8/20/12. There will be 9 in our party, 6 adults, 3 kids, ages 17, 8 & 5. Have reservations for 2 family suites at the art of animation but are wondering about the treehouses at Saratoga spring. Any advice?

    Hi Eduardo,

I am really excited about the addition of more family suites at the Walt Disney World Resorts. The new Art of Animation resort looks like it will be a lot of fun!

The Treehouses at Saratoga Springs are cool. Being elevated is a really fun experience for children of all ages. You will have a full kitchen and you can all stay in one "room" as well instead of two separate suites with kitchenettes.

The disadvantage to the Treehouses is the especially long time to leave the resort. You need to take an internal resort bus and then transfer to a bus leaving for a park. If you are going to have a car, this makes it easier to move about between the resort and the parks.

I would stick to the Art of Animation over the Treehouses or look at any of the other three bedroom villas.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
