Hi there, I am planning a trip with my whole famly for this summer and had 2 Questions. First, is there a senior citizen discount for tickets to WDW? Second, can you get the dining plan added to your park ticket if you dont stay at a WDW resort? Thanks :)

    Hi Jamie,

There are only two ticket price points at Walt Disney World: child and adult. Children are guests ages 3-9. Adults are everyone else. There are no special rates for seniors.

The Disney Dining Plan is only available as part of a Magic Your Way package that includes a stay at a Disney resort hotel room, park tickets, and the meal plan. There is no way to purchase the plan if you are not staying on Disney property.

However, you are absolutely welcome to make reservations for and dine at any Disney restaurant, both in the parks and in the resorts. You'll just have to pay with cash (or credit card, debit card, travelers checks, etc.) instead of with Dining Plan credits.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
