I am planning a trip and have never been to WDW. I have a two year old girl and I was wondering which park or parks would best fit her. How trustworthy is the child care centers in the resorts & where would my husband & I go for a night out?

    Melissa,

Really all four of the parks are going to have something that she will enjoy. But the Magic Kingdom has a whole lot more than any of the other three parks, by a long shot.

As for the child activity centers in the resorts, we adore them. My wife is one who would NEVER trust a babysitter that she did not know personally. She doesn't care if they are bonded or not. But when we left our girls in the Mouseketeer Club (the Child Activity Center in the Grand Floridian) she was very comfortable with the security and safety of the club. When we returned we saw that they had taken exceptional care of our girls. Attentive, creative, and all with the height of security, which was important to us.

One thing to consider. The Child Activity Centers do not accept children under the age of 3. Hopefully your daughter will be that age when you come?

Finally, for things to do on your date night out? SO MANY!

My wife and I opt for a nice dinner out. Typically the California Grill or Jiko. But we are trying now to go to a new place every time. Another option is a spa night! Drop the kids off early, then off to the spa for some treatments. Then dinner and whatever else seems fun.

Other options include going to a park and hitting all those rides together that you may be skipping, shopping at Downtown Disney, or enjoying a quiet stroll around the Epcot World Showcase.

Write me back with a follow-up question and tell me what you do on date nights at home and I can recommend some specific options!

    Have a magical vacation!
