We are planning a trip to WDW soon and will have 4 children at the time. Ages 5,4,2 and a newborn. We would like to stay at Port Orleans when we go. Will our party size allow us to stay at that resort? Thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

There are some rooms at Port Orleans Riverside (not French Quarter) which will accommodate your family. These are the trundle bed rooms that sleep up to five, plus one child under the age of three in a Pack n' Play crib. I have to warn you that while technically you can do this, you're going to be squeezed in quite tightly.

You might be more comfortable in a Family suite at the All Star Music resort. The pricing is in the same general ballpark, but you get more room. The family suites have two separate rooms (good if you want the little ones to nap), a kitchenette, and two bathrooms.

And for just a bit more money, the cabins at Fort Wilderness would also work for your family. These include two rooms, a full kitchen, and outdoor space.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
